Measurement Chart Diagram

When you are measuring yourself if possible do so in front of the mirror to ensure the tape measure is horizontally positioned around your body.

Hold the tape measure close against your body but not too tight

See diagram below for help.

Tip: Always wear the underwear you plan to wear with the garment.

Measure the fullest part of your bust ensuring the tape measure is even and horizontal at the back.

Your waist is the smallest part of your torso; it is usually a few centimetres above your belly button. Wrap the tape measure around your waist, ensuring it is comfortable but not loose.

This measurement is taken at the widest part of your body. Measure around the fullest part of your bottom or at the top of your thighs, which ever is widest. Make sure the tape measure is even and horizontal at the back.

The following measurements will need another person to do this for you.

Back Length
At the top of your back is a bone that is below your neck - it is between your shoulders - measure from this point down to your waist is.

This is for people whom have a shorter torso, sway back or are longer in the torso aswell.

The standard measure measure for Nape to Waist is around 41cm.

Waist to Hem
Measure from the waist down to your desired skirt length

Sleeve Length

*Only for long sleeve dress designs, long sleeve top designs, jackets and coats.

Measure from the top of angle of your shoulder and down the side of your arm to the desired length that your require your sleeve. Please note jackets and coats will normally come to the middle of your hand.
